This fascinating print technique can use a variety of surfaces and textures to create the plates that will be printed. During the three day discovery course we will see the different varnishes that can be used to protect the plates to give different results. We will also experiment with hand printing as well as using a press. The prints will be made on paper and fabric using fine printing inks that you will learn to manipulate to give rich results.
